Albert WEYMAN English

Albert is a fantastic keyboard player. He started very young with his sister Evy, who was already recording. He got a band together for her in Paris: LES PROBLEMES.Then, he joined “VIGON ET LES LEMONS”, a Rhythm & Blues band with an awesome Horn Section, that also became Evy's backing group. Later she had them all move to Rome. They played in most French, Italian and North African clubs, specially the “BUS PALLADIUM” in Paris and the “TITAN CLUB” in Rome. As the “Lemons”, they backed “Chuck Berry” in his French concerts. “The Lemons” are featured in Evy's 3rd single in Italy " Domani......." . Albert also toured with Italian star Raffaella Carrà.

Later, in Rome, he joined one of the greatest bands ever : “LES PYRANAS”. When Albert joined them, they were backing “Rocky Roberts”, before they went solo. Rocky had just left “The Airdales”, and choosed the best musiciens in Paris to back him up, they became “The Pyranas”. Albert had the Würlitzer piano and the Hammond M3 with incorporated Leslie. After André Ceccarelli on drums, Robbie McIntosh (former drummer of Average White Band) and Steve Ferrone played in the band, with Alex Ligertwood on vocals . He played with them for many years, and left to write and direct films soundtracks . He produced Alan Sorrenti's album "Aria", and Renato Zero's " Madame" . After a few, he started his own records productions with "LE CHAT"censured on Italian radio, but played on Vatican Radio untill they had the lyrics double meaning translated......... followed with Belle Epoque : BLACK IS BLACK and MISS BROADWAY, ecc............

Albert has been very successful with his productions and to relax he bought a boat, the Silver Maid, scottish all in teak,which had been Susan Strafford's. We managed to enter a grand piano on board, start of many parties.

He also opened the " SUPERSTAR " in Nice , the most beautiful French Riviera discothèque .
